Who is the School Community Council and what do they do? Every school is required to have a School Community Council (SCC). Ours will consist of the principal, another school employee, and four parents. These parents who serve as SCC members will represent parent perspectives on issues and decisions made by the Council. This gives parents input in the school improvement plan and how the funds from the School LAND Trust Program will be spent. This council will meet approximately 4 times per year.
School Community Council elections will take place beginning September 16, 2024, through September 20, 2024. Click here for Bios: SCC Bios 24-25. Voting is conducted in person at the Oak Leaf Elementary office between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm. Voting will end at 3:00 pm on September 20th.
